Bulk carrier struck by disabled cargo ship, Hooghly river VIDEO

Cargo ship or self-propelled barge SOHOM IV on Sep 18 suffered engine failure in Diamond Harbor waters, Kolkata, Hooghly river, India. The ship started to drift, carried by strong current, and struck anchored bulk carrier, which wasn’t identified. SOHOM IV was finally, taken under control and anchored near collision side. Bulk carried sustained damages, yet to be estimated. According to tracks and video, stricken bulk carrier is most probably, SAMIR, anchored at Diamond harbor anchorage since early September.
