Container ship MSC LAUSANNE anchored in Vigo Bay in emergency

Container ship MSC LAUSANNE on arrival from Charleston USA had to anchor in front of Vigo in Vigo Bay, Spain, in the afternoon Mar 14, because of navigational system failure – radar reportedly, malfunctioned, and should be fixed. The ship remained at anchor as of morning Mar 16. Not clear if inoperable radar is the sole cause of ship’s emergence anchoring.
