Disabled Aframax under tow, Atlantic

Aframax MINERVA NOUNOU was disabled on Mar 9 west of Vigo, Atlantic, while ballasting from Turkey to Netherlands. Crew tried to fix problem, but reportedly, failed, so Salvament SAR tug DON INDA (IMO 9338010) too k tanker on tow early Mar 12, to tow her to Vigo for repairs. Tanker’s owner Minerva Marine is sanctioned by Ukraine for transporting Russian oil, she arrived at Aliaga Turkey from Ust Luga, Baltic, Russia.
