Ferry beached by storm, passengers and crew reached shore, safe

Ferry KM ENTEBE EXPRESS with 81 passengers and 18 crew on board was beached by storm at Mamuju Regency coast, South Sulawesi, Makassar Strait, at around 1400 WITA time (UTC +8) Nov 28, shortly after leaving Mamuju port, bound for Balikpapan, Kalimantan. Reportedly, all passengers and crew abandoned ferry and made shore by own means – life rafts, lifeboats, judging from photo. All are safe. Ship’s status and condition as of morning Nov 29, are unknown.
