Iranian container ship fire off Syria, wild speculations around UPDATE hit by missile?

Iranian container ship SHAHR E KORD is reportedly on fire off Latakia, Syria, since either late Mar 10 or early Mar 11. The ship arrived at Latakia Anchorage from Bandar Abbas via Suez Canal, fire understood to erupt on cargo deck in containers. Some photos circulating in social nets are allegedly the photos of SHAHR E KORD fire, it is said also, that firefighting is under way. There are already wild speculations in some regional media on the cause of the fire, said to be the Israeli revenge.

Mar 12 UPDATE: RT cited The Independent, Persian edition, which blamed Israel, reporting that the ship was hit by a a guided missile without warhead, the hit and explosion being the cause of the fire.
