Container ship VIETSUN CONFIDENT at around 0830 LT (UTC +7) Feb 26 struck anchored fishing vessel KH 00737 TS in waters of Binh Thuan Province, north of Vung Tau. Fishing vessel sank in a matter of minutes, but all 8 crew were rescued. Owner of container ship is to settle with KH 00737 TS owner compensation costs. VIETSUN CONFIDENT is en route from Ho Chi Minh to Cua Lo, Nghe An Province.
