Captain of Russian nuclear container carrier SEVMORPUT medevaced

Captain of Russian nuclear container carrier SEVMORPUT was medevaced by Spanish Maritime Rescue helicopter in the afternoon Dec 16 and transported to a hospital in Las Palmas, Gran Canaria, with symptoms of meningitis. SEVMORPUT is returning to S-Petersburg after her Antarctic expedition voyage was cancelled, due to damaged propeller. The ship has been approaching Canary Islands by legs since Dec 14, waiting understood, for permission to medevac Captain. The ship resumed sailing at around 2130 UTC Dec 16.
There were some absolutely irrational fears of Captain’s sickness being caused by some nuclear something, leak or accident or what-have-you. There’s a lot of media anxiety in coastal States along ship’s route, including Spain, Portugal, France, UK, regarding SEVMORPUT trip. They are afraid of SEVMORPUT and possible radiation pollution. People aren’t afraid of poisonous (absolutely unnecessary at the very least) vaccine, but are afraid of a passing-by nuclear cargo ship. Maybe we deserve all of it – pandemic and climate hoaxes, masks, vaccines, lockdowns, New World Order and Great Reset, – being that stupid? I guess, yes, we deserve it.

Russian nuclear container carrier with damaged propeller cruising in Angolan waters
Russian nuclear-powered lighter and containers carrier SEVMORPUT interrupted her voyage to Antarctica sometime in the middle of October, limped to Angolan coast, southwest Africa, and since early November, was cruising in legs at 4-6 knots speed off Luanda, ever since. As it finally became known, one of propeller’s blades was damaged, the ship was waiting for divers team from S-Petersburg, who disengaged broken blade and removed symmetrical blade, to stabilize propulsion system and ship’s sailing – that’s how the official narrative goes, already published by some Russian outlets. The ship sailed from S-Petersburg with full research station module kit, and supplies. Not yet known if she will continue her voyage.
LASH and containers carrier, nuclear-powered SEVMORPUT, IMO 8729810, dwt 34615, capacity 74 lighters or 1300 containers, built 1988, flag Russia, owner ATOMFLOT Russia.
