Two bulk carriers collided in Parana river

Bulk carrier FORTUNE MIRACLE collided with bulk carrier INTERLINK FORTUITY at around 0300 UTC Nov 23 in front of San Lorenzo, Argentina, Parana river. Understood FORTUNE MIRACLE was under way with 45100 tons of soy on board, bound for Santos, and struck anchored INTERLINK FORTUITY portside. Extent of damages unknown, as of 1330 UTC Nov 24 both ships remain anchored in front of San Lorenzo. On SL24 news website photo both ships immediately after collision.

Bulk carrier INTERLINK FORTUITY, IMO 9711755, dwt 38734, built 2017, flag Marshall Islands, manager BERNHARD SCHULTE-HKG LP, HK (EQUASIS).
