Freighter carrying coal listed, contact lost, South China sea UPDATE

UPDATE: All crew rescued, ship’s status unclear, probably still afloat with heavy list.

UPDATE: Latest reports said the ship sank, crew went into life rafts, still missing.

Cargo ship with cargo of coal reported engine failure, developing list in South China sea in the afternoon Aug 29. According to local sources, contacts with vessel were lost, after receiving distress message, SAR under way.
