Tanker collided with fishing boat in Kanmon Strait, boat sank, 2 injured

Chemical tanker collided with fishing boat in Kanmon Strait on May 13. Two fishermen on board were thrown overboard in collision, rescued and taken to hospital, both suffering injures. Fishing boat later sank. Tanker was ballasting from China to Japan, passing Kanmon Strait in eastern direction. Tanker was detained after collision for investigation, no information on tanker’s damages, if any.
