French ro-ro ship interrupted voyage after water ingress

Ro-ro ship MN PELICAN reported to MRCC Corsen, France, water ingress, in the evening May 6, in Biscay Bay, being en route from Bilbao Spain to Poole UK. SAR ship ABEILLE BOURBON responded, delivering equipment required for taking water ingress under control. Helicopter delivered a team of technicians, so finally, water ingress has been taken under control. MN PELICAN had to interrupt voyage and arrived at Brest under own power, where she was docked early in the morning May 7.
