MAERSK 20,000 TEU Container Ship aground, refloated Feb 4 UPDATE

Feb 4 UPDATE: Was refloated at around 0000 UTC Feb 4 by SAR NEUWERK, offshore tug UNION SOVEREIGN and 6 assisting tugs. As of 0315 UTC, caravan was slowly moving in northern direction, probably heading for outer anchorage, to anchor giant ship for underwater survey. No reports on damages yet.

Subscribers alert: Container ship MUMBAI MAERSK understood aground since 2306 UTC Feb 2, straying off Bremerhaven approach fairway, while sailing to Bremerhaven, on arrival from Rotterdam. At least 5 tugs responding, according to tracks, as of 0510 UTC Feb 3.
UPDATE: Grounding confirmed, at least 5 tugs and salvors teams are responding, ship’s still aground as of 0630 UTC.

Ultra Large Container Vessel (ULCV) reportedly ran aground in North sea, straying off fairway, at night Feb 2, still aground as of morning Feb 3. Awaiting accident confirmation, updates.
