Panamax bulk carrier disabled in Dardanelles

Bulk carrier FORTUNE TRADER suffered engine failure at around 1730 UTC Dec 7 in Dardanelles while transiting the Straits in southern direction, en route from Novorossiysk Russia to Djibouti, shortly after she passed Canakkale 1915 Bridge. Straits Traffic Control Center immediately responded by sending tugs, bulk carrier was taken under control and towed, or escorted, back to Marmara sea and anchored at Sevketiye Anchorage. As of 0315 UTC Dec 8, she was still at anchor.
