Disabled general cargo ship under tow, Med

General cargo ship BEATA suffered engine failure in eastern Mediterranean east of Rhodes island, Greece, in the morning Oct 26, while en route from Iskenderun Turkey to Constanta Romania. Prior to that breakdown, there was another one, at night Oct 25, but apparently, crew managed to fix the problem and resumed sailing. Second breakdown disabled the ship, tug EDT ANDROMEDA (IMO 9260328) was contracted to tow BEATA to Souda, Crete, with ETA Oct 30.
