Ukrainian Navy degaussing ship U-811 BALTA ran into trouble in the morning Oct 13 in Black sea south of Odessa Port, near Snake (Zmeiniy) Island, in rough weather. Two ship’s compartments were flooded, she was brought to anchor off Snake island, and assisted by SAR ships and tugs. It was reported by 2000 UTC, that the situation is under control, the ship is stabilized.
