Reefer grounding, Norway

Reefer cargo ship HOLMFOSS ran aground in Lerstad area, east of Alesund, Norway, in the afternoon Jun 17. In several hours, the ship was refloated with tug assistance, and taken to Ellingsoufjord for inspection. Understood no damages, or serious damages, were found, the ship resumed voyage to Alesund. As of 1500 UTC Jun 17, HOLMFOSS was approaching Alesund.
