Korean trawler on fire, 34 crew evacuated, safe, Philippines

Trawler NO.96 OYANG caught fire early in the morning Jan 26 in Philippines sea E of Manila, 34 crew had to abandon the ship and went into life rafts. Later they were picked up by nearby vessels, to be transferred and disembarked at Cebu City by PCG ship. No injures reported, condition and status of trawler unknown, probably burning out.
