Two general cargo ships accidents: Norway and Greece

NORWAY
General cargo shi[ WILSON PARNU suffered engine failure early in the morning Nov 22, and drifted dangerously close to Sotra island coast, west of Bergen, in rough weather conditions. Salvage operation was launched deploying SAR and fishing vessels, but understood, WILSON PARNU managed to prevent further drift by dropping anchor or anchors, and later, restarting engine. The moved away from the coast to safe waters, and proceeded to Bergen, escorted by tug and SAR ships. GREECE
General cargo ship SEAVEN STAR ran aground in the afternoon Nov 21 in Corinth Canal, while transiting it in eastern direction. The ship was refloated and towed back to Gulf of Corinth same day, and anchored for inspection.
