Bulk carrier pushed aground by storm, Sakhalin, Russia VIDEO

Bulk carrier MERCURY OCEAN dragged anchor and drifted aground during the night Oct 25-26 at Boshnyakovo Anchorage, western Sakhalin Island coast, Tatarskiy Strait. The ship is partially loaded, she was loading coal and by the time of an accident, has some 12,000 tons of coal on board. Crew remains on board, there’s no danger of major disaster so far, SAR tug reportedly, already left Korsakov Port, southern Sakhalin.
