Bulk carrier SHANDONG FU DE rested on bottom along berth at Chornomorsk Port, Ukraine, Black sea, after completing cargo operation of loading grain, in the evening Jun 17. Ship’s draft reached 12.4 meter, it’s exceeds by 20 centimeters max permissible draft. As of afternoon Jun 18, the ship remained in the same position. Tugs were deployed, authorities are expecting wind change, which will increase water level. Probably, it was decided to offload some cargo and reduce draft. The ship is bound for Amsterdam.
