Chinese ferry fire, passengers were evacuated, Incheon, Korea

One of the containers on cargo deck of Chinese cargo/passenger ferry NEW GOLDEN BRIDGE VII caught fire in the evening May 27 at Incheon, Korea, when the ship was about to set sail, bound for Weihai, China. All 420 passengers left the ship, fire was extinguished in less than an hour, the ship left Incheon at night same day. Cargo deck reportedly, sustained some non-detainable damages, several containers near the one on fire were also damaged.
