Landing craft vessel ran on coral reefs off tourist paradise island

Landing craft vessel LCT POSEIDON 37 ran aground off Panglao island, Bohol, Philippines, Bohol sea, in the evening Apr 18, while en route to Cebu, with construction materials. Grounding was caused by navigational error. Vessel reportedly, sustained slight damages, she was surveyed by divers and is to be refloated with high water. Panglao is something of tourists paradise, with world-known resorts, beaches and scuba-diving coral reefs. Corals reportedly, were damaged, extent of damages to be assessed.
