Ferry reported water ingress, brought to anchor for survey, Greece Update

Ferry NEARCHOS suffered controlled water ingress in portside bow section in the morning Oct 27 in Santorini island waters, Greece, Aegean sea. Ferry with 13 crew, 5 passengers and 5 trucks on board was en route from Mykonos to Thira, Santorini. Ferry anchored off Nea Kameni island, to undergo underwater survey. As of 0900 UTC, the ship was in the same position, with patrol boats nearby.
