German freighter troubled in English Channel

General cargo ship JEVENAU was disabled and started to drift at 1740 UTC Jun 29 in English Channel northeast of Le Havre, by 0700 UTC Jun 30 she was still adrift, drifting in southwest direction, parallel to her original track. The ship is en route from Spain to Belgium. Understood SAR ship ABEILLE LANGUEDOC (IMO 7710525) was sent either to monitor drifting ship, or take her tow if crew wouldn’t fix the problem. At around 0730 UTC JEVENAU was under way, gathering way and returning to original course, with SAR ship still around.
