Oil research ship GEOS devastated by fire, 1 crew missing

Oil research ship GEOS suffered explosion in engine room and fire at around 0300 LT Apr 17 off Kuala Baram, northwest Kalimantan, near Malaysia Brunei border. Crew reportedly had to jump in water, out of 38 people on board 1 or 2 went missing, the rest were rescued, some with burns and injures. Judging from photos, GEOS is engulfed in fire. The ship was engaged in offshore oil exploration, nearby offshore tugs are trying to dose the fire. According to latest updates as of 0500 UTC Apr17, the ship is burning out.
