Cargo ship HONG ANH 69 sank in the afternoon Oct 30 in position 18 49N 105 45E, off Cua Lo, northern Vietnam, Gulf of Tonkin. Vessel was loaded with 4600 tons of coal, cause of sinking unclear, rough seas mentioned. 12 crew were rescued. According to available data, HONG ANH 69 is a 4740-ton cargo ship of 60-meter length, Vietnam-flagged, Call sign 3WGH, MMSI 574013266. On a photo from Giao Thong assumedly HONG ANH 69 wreck, and if it is so, the ship capsized and most probably, is resting on bottom in shallow waters.
